Major Saver-January 17th-24th
Our Major Saver fundraiser is coming to an end! Please send in your final purchases.
All Major Saver sales can be made online if you so choose. Your child can create their unique URL/web address so that friends and family can purchase Major Saver cards conveniently online. You can also keep it simple and pay directly on the Major Saver website (all they need to do is mention your child’s name).
Half of the money raised directly benefits VSE, and half benefits the Blue Springs Education Foundation. The Blue Springs Education Foundation supports district students, staff, and schools in various ways, such as classroom grants, scholarships, and assistance for students in need.
Thanks to all who have participated!
Art Opportunity
Kindergarten-1st students are completing art contest drawings for the Blue Springs Rotary Club “Color of Kindness Drawing Contest.” In class we read the book “Kindness Makes Me Stronger” which shared many good visuals of what kindness looks like. Students were then tasked with drawing what kindness looks like to them. The students did such an amazing job and wanted to be able to show their work to their family, so I will be sending this home and sharing the entry form link below. Due date is TODAY January 25, 2023.

Third-Fifth grade students have been working on the Toyota Dream Car Drawing Contest for the past couple of weeks. The challenge of this contest is creating a mode of transportation that serves a greater purpose than simply driving. Such a large concept took a lot of thinking, and the students nailed it. Just as with the younger grade levels, students have wanted to be able to show these off at home, so I will be sharing the link below if you and your kiddo should decide to enter! Due Date is January 31, 2023.
